Officers

President

holly lu conant rees of Nashville is an education advocate for The Arc of Davidson County. She chairs the Disability Coalition on Education; is member and past chair of the Family Advisory Council for the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. She is co-founder of SPAN-TN; and board member of the national Mothers from Hell 2. She is married to John and has one son named Samuel who owns his own lawn care business.

Vice President, Planning/Rules Committee Chair

John Lewis of Nashville chairs the Planning and Rules Committee. He is retired from the State of Tennessee. He previously worked for the Division of Intellectual Disabilities Services and TennCare. He is Treasurer, Guardianship and Trust Corporation and former Treasurer/Board Member Mid-TN Supported Living.

Secretary

Lorri Mabry of Antioch and graduate from MTSU is a pro-active self-advocate who has been on the board of directors for one year. She serves on several committees and is a graduate of Partners in Policymaking.

Treasurer, Budget/Finance Committee Chair

John and his wife Janet are parents to three children, including their teenage son Evan, who has autism. John has a strong background in leadership, community development, and team building with local, state, and national nonprofit organizations. John served as the president of the Autism Society of Middle Tennessee for 6 years, and for nearly 4 years as a Vice Chair of the national board of the Autism Society of America. He is co-author, with Paula Kluth, of The Autism Checklist: A Practical Reference for Parents and Teachers, John Wiley & Sons, 2009.

Past President, Nominating Committee Chair

Glenda Bond, from Crossville, is a retired services coordinator for special education. She has served on the boards of The Arc of the United States and The Arc of Cumberland County as president, past president and treasurer. She is chair of the Human Rights Committee for Hilltoppers in Crossville. She is married to Randy and has two sons, Michael and Scott, who have multiple disabilities.
